We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Firoz Ahmed as the Chief Operating Officer at Folia Bangladesh Limited, effective September 01, 2023. In his new role, Mr. Ahmed will be at the helm of Sales & Marketing operations while also providing invaluable assistance to the CEO in overseeing the company's overall business operations. 
Mr. Ahmed brings with him a proven history of revitalizing businesses, fostering market demand, orchestrating successful Go-To-Market Strategies, and driving commercial expansion. His expertise spans across pivotal domains including Business Development, Sales & Distribution, Human Resources, and Strategic Planning.
With an illustrious career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Ahmed has garnered extensive experience across diverse organizations such as Dan Cake, Grameenphone, Lafarge Holcim, Augere, and British American Tobacco Bangladesh. His professional journey has traversed various sectors including FMCG, Telecommunications, Cement, and Tobacco industries.
Prior to joining Folia Bangladesh Limited, Mr. Ahmed held the esteemed position of Chief Operating Officer at Dan Cake, where he led comprehensive business operations. His contributions were also instrumental during his tenure as Director of Connectivity and Business Development at Grameenphone, as well as HR Director at Lafarge Holcim. Furthermore, Mr. Ahmed spent 12 impactful years at British American Tobacco Bangladesh, undertaking multifaceted roles including Regional Trade Marketing Manager and Strategy Planning & Insights Manager.
Mr. Ahmed's academic accomplishments include an MBA with a major in Finance from BRAC University, along with a Master's in Social Science (MSS) degree in Public Administration from Dhaka University.
